Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhchooooooooooooooo! Bless me! Down with severe flu. These few weeks has been taking a strain on me. The students I am tutoring seemed more relaxed than me for preparation for the exams.

  Especially rs. I asked him you dunno how to do this sum, exam how sia? He will either replied, "school teacher haven't teach yet or don't worry, it is easy...zzz. Well. It is good to be optimistic, but isn't he a bit too optimistic? 

  As usual, yl and zw are doing exceptional well in their preparation. Ky and kq still doing fairly ok. I am more worried about rs. He was aiming for a pass. I said, pass no zoo leh. Then he will try to bargain with me...haha.

  That all, super sick today. Drink more water. nite.

Everything is seemed hectic all these weeks. I thought I can relaxed once FYP is over. Well, I am wrong. 

Ky mum keep pressuring to ask me to give an extra boost to their academic performance. She ask tuition unrelated questions like, "How can I keep my sons focused?" "How can I make them complete homework faster?". I am a tutor, not a childcare teacher. I feel pathetic to her also cause who want their children to lose to their peers? I have been doing all I can to make sure their academic grades will be consistent throughout, eg. Make my own exam papers to test their understanding or doing extra visitation to oversee their homework. Ya, I am just a tutor. But, which tutor want to see their students flourishing?

Rs on the other hand, is much better right now. He knows how to draw models. Haha. He is also quite adept in science questions. I feel so much better that efforts has not been put to waste. Thanks for guiding him all these days. =D

I was tentative to meet rs. So long never see him liao. Haha. His mum shift the table to the storeroom since his sister is playing game in that room... I come also in happy mode so didn't really teach much.

I am so happy I have ended my semester with a great ending. Haha. Anyway, his exam is starting on 25 Feb...and he still can't get his primary 2 questions right. I am fretting more than he do. I ask him, "exam coming already, how ah?" I show him the calender in my hp to emphasis on the tight schedule I have to accommodate him with. He say, "I will study very hard and listen to you lor".

Then I say, "Ok, let begins now". He pointed to the clock and say, "But, 9pm already, lesson end already". I was like diao lor. I am giving free extra time leh. Where to find this kind of tuition teacher? Lol. I left in a happy mode and decided not to give him hw for today since it is still officially Lunar New Year. (It is not because I am lazy k? I do this because I am a understanding teacher(=

Since I have so much time right now, I must create a new blog for my own. Of cause it is going to be tons better than yours. Haha. =x Nights! =D

Note--->Bluetooth on my aging lappy malfunction--->this word sound familiar? I am still deciding whether to bring for repair...Have to erase all my files + wait for their repair. Sighs. So no photos for today. =D

Haha. Surprised to see all are either kids or aunts, no one around my age. =x It is a kid party anyway. What am I talking about? Lol. This is the day where you can see the kids play catching and make lots of noise without getting scolded by ky mum, (she scolded anyone, even neighbouring kids if they play outside when I am teaching.) Haha. =x

Kids are meant to be this way. Running about and shouting to get people attention. They are in their own world, nothing to worry about(nothing particularly serious compared to us). Lots of kids...seeing their smiles just make me forgot my troubles momentarily.

Today is her day. The sort of day where you only get to celebrate once a year, like national day. But it is more personal, nothing grand, but special in another sense. It is the day where you proclaim to the world that you are born and you exist.

The moment I step in, she just smile delightfully. It is quite rare to see her smile, given the family background she has. I wouldn't even dare to face the world if it occurred to me. A kid smile is special cause they didn't do that to make you happy, they smile because they are happy. Simple and innocent. Natalie, whatever wishes you have, don't give up ok? Smile, today is your day afterall! =D

CNY is coming but no mood and time to celebrate. I have decided to split the 2 days of 3 hour session into 3 days of 2 hours instead. That means I will be tutoring them for 1 hour each instead of the usual 1 and a half hour. Why?

They have short attention span. They can keep mumbling what time is it till the cow goes home. Since I am taking rs next month, this will make my schedule more "breathable" to accommodate. Their mum seemed pleased with the new arrangement since there isn't any price hike. =x

Ky is now better now thanks to my boi chap attitude. Every time he tried to crack a joke or talk nonsense, I just show him my indifferent face. I almost make kq cried just now. Scary sia. He keep rocking the chair like riding a pony like that. I push the chair away and it accidentally hit the cupboard next to it. He started to show the want to cry but must tahan face... But on the whole, I didn't have to shout that much or keep repeating myself. =D

Ps ky. This year PSLE liao. Hope when you grew up and saw this blog next time, you know why the sudden changes in my attitude liao. Haha. Nite.
